Graduate Student Research Conference 2012: FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Question (Q): How can I be involved in the GSRC 2012?
Answer: (A) You can consider doing an oral or poster presentation or volunteering at the conference!

Q: How do I volunteer?
A: Visit our volunteer webpage to find out more.

Q: There isn’t a link to my faculty on the conference homepage. May I participate?
A: The Graduate Student Research Conference is in a year of transition for 2012, with the focus changing from an interdisciplinary event to a faculty based event. Faculties from which the conference has traditionally drawn most of its participants are hosting their own mini-conferences. If the faculty based Graduate Student Research Conference 2012 proves to be a success, it is our hope to have all faculties represented in the future.

Q: May I submit more than 1 abstract for the research conference?
A: You may submit one abstract for each type of presentation (ex. one oral presentation abstract and one poster presentation abstract). Two abstracts of the same presentation type are not permitted. (ex. two poster or two oral presentation abstracts).

width (side to side) 46 inches (approx. 117 cm) by
height (top to bottom) 46 inches (approx. 117 cm) minimum (may hang over if longer than this).
