Graduate Thesis Regulations

The Graduate Studies Office is located in Ira Needles Hall - Room 2011. Graduate Studies Office hours for the review of theses submissions are 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday to Friday.

All thesis must have received final acceptance/approval by the Examinating Committee before being submitted electronically.

Effective October 2006, the University thesis requirement is one electronic copy (in .pdf format only). However, Faculties/Departments may have an additional requirement for bound paper copies to meet degree requirements. Students must submit bound copies to their department as appropriate (see New Media Services for binding information).

Following is a list of Faculty/department bound copy requirements:

Students who are required to submit copies for binding must obtain "approval" from the Graduate Studies Office before depositing for binding with UW Graphics. This approval will be in the form of an e-mail approval notification.
